At Emmanuel Evangelical Church children are a very important part of the church family. The children's ministry exists to gather kids into age-appropriate groups and equip parents so that kids can come to know Jesus and serve others the way God shaped them to bring glory to God.
What We Offer
Our Sunday Children's ministries are organised into four areas.
Nursery
0 - 3 years
We work hard to make sure the environment is safe, clean and that every child experiences genuine nurture and love.
Pre-school & Primary
3 - 5 & 5 - 9 years
We strive to create the first building blocks of a strong, gospel centred foundation for our children. We teach from the Scriptures and proclaim who God is and what He has done in the person and work of Jesus Christ. We sing, dance and teach the Bible to the kids, focusing on our five foundational truths: God made everything, God is in charge of everything, God is good, Jesus came to save sinners, and God wants to talk with us.
Intermediate
10 - 12 years
We seek to increase that strong, gospel centred foundation in our students through learning and studying the Word of God. Intermediate school is where our students get their first experience of what group life is like within the church. Our hope is to partner with parents in helping students go deeper with each other, their leaders and, most importantly, God.
The Ride Home
On your way home, be sure to ask your child questions like, “Did you have fun?” and “What did you learn today?” It’s our goal that every child has a positive answer to these two questions, every week!
